A cure is our finish line and your Walk for PKD fundraising is essential to reaching that goal. In recognition of our top fundraisers and to express our gratitude for their commitment, the PKD Foundation awards individual and team fundraisers with accolades for their fundraising success.  

Top Fundraisers Club 

Individual fundraisers will be inducted into the elite Top Fundraisers Club when their fundraising reaches $1,000. Members of this club receive: 

  • Exclusive digital badge delivered to you as soon as the milestone is reached 
  • Your name displayed proudly on the Walk for PKD website 
  • Recognition in the Community Fundraising Impact Report 
  • Top fundraiser sticker to wear at your local Walk for PKD event 
  • Verbal recognition at the Start Line ceremony of your local Walk event 

TeamFirst 

Teams that raise $5,000 or more will be inducted into the TeamFirst Club. Teams reaching this status will be recognized as follows.  

  • Team name displayed proudly on the Walk for PKD website 
  • Recognition in the Community Fundraising Impact Report 
  • Verbal recognition at the Start Line ceremony of your local Walk event

TeamFirst status is awarded to teams fundraising $5,000 or above.

Top Fundraisers Club status is awarded to individuals fundraising $1,000 or above.

We have information resources and tools to help you achieve fundraising success.

How to get in the news

Your PKD story and Why you Walk will catch the interest of local media. Health reporters, human interest, and giving back segments on TV, radio, podcasts, or print are all opportunities to publicize the Walk for PKD and raise awareness.

Let us know if you need help preparing for an interview and we can provide talking points and guidance.

How to earn prizes

Walk for PKD participants can earn prizes based on their fundraising success. We’ll notify you when prize redemption is active, then you can select a prize that is equivalent to your level of fundraising.

Our prizes are wearable or portable so you can celebrate your fundraising achievements while raising awareness of PKD!
